A beautiful day that announces spring after a big victory, in addition to winning the 50/50 again for the Express, what could be more inspiring! One could say that it ends the week well or that it 's a good start to it , depending on how you see things...
It was a special game yesterday with the drone hovering above us . It was not as annoying as I expected and the least of our worries when we stepped on the ice, but sitting on the bench, (or even so while sitting in the penalty box, which was probably filmed) I watched and I wondered what kind of shots would come out of it… It is not easy to follow the game and capture beautiful moments , especially since I noticed that it was not in flight during some of the most beautiful plays and goals, but you would need at least 2 (or even 3) to be able to cover a whole game with battery charging and all…
In fact I do not feel like talking about the games , or how much I (L'Express ) is lucky to still have won the cash . What comes to mind is the adventure Martin Maille (of the Avs) and Lisette Nepveu are about to live ; they have been preparing for at least one year to go to sea for two years on a sailboat ... (by the way , hats off to Martin for having played in two games, as a new sub was a no-show for the second game)
It is the kind of thing which many people dream about, not only without ever doing it, but without really thinking about what it represents in preparation and organization, or simply as a way of life; for living on a boat is not obvious for several reasons , starting with the reduced space and the movement of the sea, a combination that eliminates most at the start... For my part , I had the chance to see a bit of what it can be like on a few occasions, and although I enjoyed the experience, I know that I do not see myself for 2 years on a boat! I hope they will keep us informed of their journey, if anything else it will be less stuff for Martin to tell us about on their return !!! I know they are working hard to prepare everything and they invited me to go see the boat that if I understood correctly is behind the house , being «perfected» as we speak. (it must be said that the property is large enough)... Definitely a story to be continued!
To return to hockey, or more precisely "after hockey," I must say we had another great evening alongside opponents and teammates, Martin Jacques-Aubert treating himself to a night at the «Clubhouse» complete with the «Grand Manitou’s all-around tour», in which I participated only for what seemed to be the introduction...
