THE TOMAHAWKS CONCEALED WEAPON REVEALED!
From the outset, our Fern told me of this article that would explain the success of our Tomahawks ‘Red clothes convey aggression and sense of domination.’ Les vêtements rouges véhiculent agressivité et sentiment de domination | Découvertes To be taken with a grain of salt, as he says.
Getting back to business, it's was last Friday night at the St. Paul pub in Old Montreal, that we had our end of season gala to honor the "titans" of our league. All this took place with a great delegation of our twice champions of the 2014-2015 season, the Red Horizon Tomahawks. Besides the presentation of individual awards handcrafted by yours truly and Eric Drapeau under the banner of Totem Urbain, the evening was a beautiful moment to highlight the involvement of various people that make the experience of the LFA unique. It was also an opportunity for some to see each other for the last time before the summer break, as many of our members hang up their skates during that time. The evening also allowed our guests to admire the work of one of our players, the painter Jacob Poliquin, who featured five of his paintings representing the icons of our habs, like the Rocket and Carey Price to name only some. The painting have gained in value since their creation, and are still available and are a good short- and long-term investment, you need only to contact the league for further details.
These off ice events that we create throughout the season have been filled with grand moments and are motivated by the hope that friendships and a sense of belonging among our members are born to make the hockey experience we offer optimal and unparalleled in the hockey world. When guys tell me that this is the most fun they've ever had playing hockey, I tell myself that we are on the right path to reinvent adult hockey leagues in the country. It is certain that to come to this realisation, you must dive head first into everything the league has to offer that far exceeds the limits of the ice.
Basically, all these efforts boil down to one thing, maximize what a sports league can be to improve the lives of those within it. It is my ambition that motivates my approach.
An article flying over the 2014-2015 season will soon emerge to bridge between the season behind us and that which is about to emerge for the first summer season of the LFA, which will begin on May 31st.
Until then, I wish you well and remember that the Ligue Fédérale des As wants your good and hopes that together we can mark our era.
