To begin, I would like to apologize to those who have been waiting for news for several days. My studies and especially sickness in my family plus work will have prevented me from writing before today. Anyway, I hope you are ready for tomorrow's games!

My topic this week is related to the recent exchanges and the results of last Saturday's games. As many of you will have noticed, the Vipers finally got their first victory in regulation time this season, thanks in part to a sustained team effort and an increased confidence in their strenght. Despite the accumulated defeats at the beginning of the season, they nevertheless remained competitive and proud. Due to hard work and, the cohesion seems now well established and they now only need to count on a complete roster to quickly go up the standings.

It seems that some teams have difficulty jumping on the ice with a full team and this is showing more and more. Despite all the game plans and the talent of the players, if a team must always relearn to play together, this cause an important handicap. We were able to see that result last week: the Shamrocks have been for many games almost always a full roster and were able to build an identity and a group cohesion that allowed them to win several tight games despite their more defensive style of play. They never lost their faith in their own ability to change the pace of a game.

Ok, it's my team, but it's still an example among many others in the intergalactic history of adult leagues: those who play, drink, go out and have fun together earn much more than those who are gone a game out of two, compare themselves to their comrades and play individually. After the last exchanges, it is now up to all the teams to roll up their sleeves, start playing as a team and build their identity for the playoffs. By playing together each and every week, you will come to find your teammates on the ice without thinking and without even looking.

There are about 20 games left in the season. There are about 20 opportunities to live the unique experience of the LFA, to be part of a close-knit team and a fraternal community that has no equivalent elsewhere.
