CENTRAL DIVISION

The Central Division is the first division of the LFA to be born in 2013. It includes all the advantages of being part of the first adult hockey league par excellence in Montreal and has a rich history of epic games, friendships of long standing and the most imposing trophies in amateur hockey. While maintaining the LFA recipe of players of different levels making up our formations, we generally find our best elements there.

SATELLITE DIVISION

The Satellite Division was the second division to join the LFA family. In its early days, it offered an original game format, with alternating units of 5 players creating new teams each week. With growing demand, it moved to 4 teams with a standard game format. This division plays weekdays in the summer and weekends in the winter and approximates the caliber of play of the founding division.

BUZZ DIVISION

Like our other programs, the Buzz Division offers a competitive yet friendly gaming experience and has established itself since its inception as our development division in which, however, many veterans also play. It also offers its participants the chance to win one of our exclusive trophies.

DIVISION PICK-UP MTL

The Pick-up MTL division offers a freer style of play without a game plan, where formations can be different from one game to another or be the same for series of 2 of 3. It is perfect for those who prefer to play hockey a little less supervised for the simple pleasure of playing. That said, the + means that a sustained effort is made to offer balanced matches, bonuses and uniforms that create the feeling of being part of a team, which is not found in “pick-up” style matches. usual. For this summer’s edition a trophy will be given out at the end of the season for the player having been part of the most winning teams.

DIVISION PICK-UP MIXED

The Mixed Pick-up division wishes to democratize the sport so that more and more women join our ranks. Although they are welcome in all our programs, we wanted the name of this new division to reflect our openness. Like most of our divisions, it offers a mix of players of different calibers who want to play for the sheer joy of playing with no trophies or championships to win. Just like in our Pick-up + program, series 2 of 3 are set up and uniforms provided.

DIVISION PICK-UP NORTH SHORE

The Pick-up Rive-Nord division allows players who want to play hockey in a less supervised style of play than in our multi-team divisions for the simple love of the sport. Like most of our divisions, it offers a mix of players of different calibers. Just like in our Pick-up + program, series 2 of 3 are set up and uniforms provided.

DIVISION 3V3 PICK-UP

Following the success of our annual LFA RUSH 3V3 tournament, we are inaugurating a new division to allow fans of this style of play on reduced ice to play a weekly pick-up style match where the formations can be different from game to game. different or be the same for sets of 2 of 3. Uniforms are also provided as in our other regular programs.

DIVISION REC 101 MIXTE

The REC 101 MIXED division offers men and women the opportunity to play together and practice our national sport in a RECREATIONAL setting. No stats, championships or trophies to be won. Simply an opportunity to play for the love of hockey in a structured environment with balanced and fair teams for all. With the teams changing every week, you will be able to make new friends on off the ice.
