GOOD FIRST DRAFT OF THE 2017-2018 SEASON
/The LFA's new hockey program
Hi guys,
I think we can say that the 2017-2018 season of the LFA started on the right foot, first with a very nice pre-season BBQ a few days before the start of the calendar followed by hotly disputed games with as a bonus very lively locker rooms , one of the benefits that come from de pre-season BBQ and league's efforts to create bridges between players.
The administration of La Ligue Fédérale des As hopes that every team will be competitive this season, that we will not have to make any adjustments and that everyone will remain healthy without forgetting the importance that team spirit, brings to the game and everyone's satisfaction and happiness in the group
Who knows, possibly that we will have a perfect season, without trades, nor suspensions, anyways, we hope so !
THE LFA MEETS SWITZERLAND AGAIN!
After a first international match this summer, the LFA will once again play on the international scene two games this weekend again against a formation from Switzerland, the HC BRUCH from Davos. I guess the word got around overseas that the league to play against in Montreal is the LFA, which works out great as we did not have games scedualed this week-end in the central division.
Those who want to watch the games just have to come to the Bell Sports Complex in Brossard on Friday for the 6:15 pm game and Saturday for the 4:45 pm game. The admission is free and the matches are likely to be very interesting as each country play a very different style of game.
The LFA will be represented by players who have expressed the desire to play coming from our different teams. They will wear for the occasion the colours of the Avengers.
It will be fun, come by to cheer the troops on !
THE LFA 7AM BUZZ PROGRAM IN FULL SWING
In an effort to stay aheah of the game, the LFA recently lauched plans for a morning division to play in Brossard, Pierrefonds and Laval. If things go as planed, this new division will start its activities in October with a 25 game schedual. All divisions playing at ONE LOCATION, not at all three as some thaught. Thanks for getting the word out to your hockey contacts and making this plan a reality !
THE LFA PART OF THE MONTREAL PREMIER OF AMERICAN ASSASSIN
"Bigger is better" one of the benefits of beeing on top in the game and reason why les Films Séville reaches out to the LFA for different Montreal film premiers throughout the year. This is why they offered to be part of our pre-season BBQ in offering our members a chance to go see the Montreal premier of American Assassin which took place Wednesday night. Another good reason for beeing part of Montreal's premier adult hockey league !
THE SATELLITE DIVISION PASSES IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA
Like the members of the central division, we will take this Sunday the player photos of our new members. To do this we ask them to arrive 5-10 minutes earlier than usual and to wear a black t-shirt. The photo shoot will take place at the LFA studios near the office. We will also ask them to fill out a small form for our carpooling and networking section of our site.
