TOURNAMENT (S), CLINIC, GOAL PEGS, SUMMER SEASON AND THE FUTURE OF THE LFA.
/For those of you who want to participate in our LFA RUSH tournament for a 3 on 3 hockey experience on February 10th, please send your payment by interac transfer or bring it Saturday or Sunday at the rink. The LFA administration would like to be able to confirm the ice time for the tournament while the ice is still available. BTW Small reminder that we don't have games next week-end January 27th and 28.
Another tournament is open to you if you feel like building a team to go see the "little rocket man" in North Korea. For a second consecutive year we received an official invitation to take part in their tournament in March which is likely to be very exotic. NEW GOAL PEGS
This weekend we will test new goal pegs as the goals at Notre-Dame College arena tend to get off their pins (pegs) which results in several stoppage of play. The LFA does everything in its power to continue to improve your playing conditions to give you the best possible hockey experience. Further improvements to our game conditions are expected by the end of the season.
WHO WANTS TO PLAY IN THE LFA THIS SUMMER?
Aware that we are several months away from the warm weather, the league must still prepare the ground for our summer season. If we receive enough deposit we will be able to offer hockey 3 EVENINGS PER WEEK in three separate divisions. You will receive an email shortly that you will need to answer to ensure that you maintain a regular player position in the league and also to help the LFA prepare our summer season.
THE FUTURE OF LFA GOES THROUGH PARTNERSHIPS
The LFA, which is in its fifth year of existence, owes it in part to the various partnerships and agreements it has signed over the years to ensure its sustainability. Your hockey weekends with balanced teams, the sufficient number of players and game material do not happen by magic. A part from two agreements, all others must be renewed this year before August to maintain the LFA in its current form. The administration hopes to be able to sign contract extensions while signing new agreements with new partners. To do this, the league needs your help and collaboration to see if around you, you might know companies that would be inclined to partner with us by becoming a sponsor of the most prominent league in the greater Montreal area. Be asure that everyone who gives a helping hand will be rewarded.
