After a period of six weeks in which we have missed not one, not two but three weeks of activities, we start up the engines for good with our eyes of the playoffs! And yes, just like life, the season passes quickly and we must already prepare for the series that will begin in a month in the Central Division with a different approach this season in the satellite division.
In the meantime, during the month of March, we will be taking team pictures and setting up games to see new recruits at work for our up-coming draft. For the moment, we still lack a certain number of players to be able to confirm the holding of our summer season but we obtained an extension from the arenas to remedy the problem. After all the work of the last seasons, to create summer championship trophies and secure very good ice time at reasonable prices, this would be a big blow for the league and really not good for its future. That said if that is what has to happen, the future will dictate the path to take for "those" who administer the LFA.
LFA NIGHT AT THE BELL CENTER
The administration of the Canadians contacted us to offer tickets for the game of MONDAY MARCH 26 against the Detroit Red Wings in section 404. Tickets are $ 60 taxes in payable upon reservation. A minimum group of 20 people is required to proceed. Those interested in the invitation, please notify the LFA by email by next Monday and once the required number of people is reached we will confirm the event and ask you for the payment.

The administration of the LFA congratulates Courval Vipers captain Brian Goolab for having been voted hands down the February Pro-Jet Demolition Player of the Month in the LFA. A dedicated player in his sport, the league and his team, he is a valued leader and is respected by his opponents.

Since the election of Valérie Plante at the city of Montreal, we have been dealing with several bad decisions from her administration and an unrealistic vision of our city as if it were to be transformed into Beijing where the vast majority of its citizens get around by bike. Using the tragic death of a young cyclist hit by a car that made a u-turn on the Mt-Royal they now want to ban the use of the Camilien-Houde road to transit from one side to the other of the mountain. I remind you that the driver was a tourist and it is normal that we have more accidents involving cyclists if their number increases. Traffic in the city is already quite difficult without taking away an alternative that is also pleasant to pass through and frolick with Mother Nature. THE WINNER OF A PAIR OF HOCKEY TICKETS
The winner of the pair of hockey tickets in conjunction with those who signed-up before March 1st will be known during the post-match get together on Saturday where you are all invited for the draw and a fun evening with the boys and girls if you bring your girlfriend or mistress. The draw will take place at La Cabane on the Main. We will be steps away from Montreal en lumière for those who want to step out after.
