The Ligue Fédérale des As (LFA) places great importance on protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information in connection with our adult hockey activities in Montreal.

We only collect the information necessary for the proper functioning of the league, including:

  • Identity: Name, surname, date of birth (to validate the required age).
  • Contact information: Email address, telephone number, postal address.
  • Player profile: Position, skill level, relevant health history (allergies or urgent medical conditions).
  • Media: Photos and videos taken during LFA matches and events.

2. Use of data

Your information is used for the following purposes:

  • Manage registrations and payments.
  • Organize the teams and the season schedules.
  • Communicate league news, schedule changes, or special events.
  • Promote the LFA via our website and social media (using game images).

3. Consent and image rights

By joining the LFA, you understand that photos and videos of matches may be publicly shared for promotional purposes. If you would like a specific image removed, you can contact us at any time.

4. Data sharing

The LFA does not sell or exchange your data with third parties for commercial purposes. Your information is accessible only to members of the league’s administration and, if necessary, to emergency services in the event of an accident on the ice.

5. Conservation and security

We implement rigorous security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access. Personal information is retained only as long as necessary for the intended purposes or to comply with our legal obligations.

6. Your rights

In accordance with Quebec law (Law 25), you have the following rights:

  • Access your personal information.
  • Request the correction of inaccurate data.
  • Request the deletion of your data (subject to the end of your participation in the league).
