About the LFA
Offering better options to adult hockey players
The Ligue Fédérale des As, better known by its acronym LFA, was created in December 2012 following its creation by the Hockey Brotherhood Association, which has over 20 years of experience.
The LFA is undoubtedly the premier adult hockey league in Quebec, and the Hockey Brotherhood Association is the driving force for change in creating a new socially responsible approach to sport.
The league is founded and has 4 teams, made up mainly of friends and acquaintances who want to play well-organized hockey.
The LFA is organizing the first true Winter Classic in Montreal’s history. The event raises $10,000 for the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation.
Ten years after its creation, the Ligue Fédérale des As has more than 40 teams spread across several distinct divisions.
The LFA has over 3000 members; in addition to hundreds of regular players, it relies on a pool of thousands of substitute players to offer complete and balanced teams.
President's Message
The main idea is to have fun together. The LFA is competitive BUT friendly above all. A good attitude on and off the ice is essential for everyone’s benefit. As a hockey legend once said, “Be like a child and leave your ego at the door.”

We have members aged from 18 to 75, depending on the division!
Championship games
60-minute games (stopped time) worthy of professional leagues, with Zamboni between periods.
A schedule for everyone
Depending on your availability, we have hockey 7 days a week! Whether you want to play in the morning, evening or weekend, there's something for everyone.
Global reference
We are receiving requests from abroad to organize friendly matches with teams visiting Montreal!
