Making a difference in the community
From the moment the LFA was created by the Hockey Brotherhood Association at the end of 2012, it was clear that a strong social commitment to charitable causes would be part of our mission. Working primarily with Sun Youth and their various programs, we have also supported the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation and other community initiatives in recent years.
We believe it is important to instill the concept of mutual support in our members, so that they, in turn, give back to others. Above all, we believe it is essential that every organization or business operating in any field uses its power to bring people together to create a better world around them.
For our part, we would like to thank our members, their families, supporters, and sponsors for their support throughout all these years. Thanks to them, we have succeeded in changing the world, one game at a time!

LFA members celebrated the 2016 Grand Final in the streets of Montreal, accompanied by representatives from Sun Youth who were presented with a cheque for $5550.
Winter Classic 2016
The LFA organized the first true Winter Classic in Montreal’s history. The colourful event raised $10,000 for the Montreal Canadiens Children’s Foundation.
