While sipping a last one....

Pat, Nick, Graham Ray, Eric ,Fern and me...Too bad the other guys couldn't make it !

Since March we were talking about organizing a team party, an occasion to spend the jackpot ($ 270) accumulated when the Express won the 50/50 2 times in a row, to the surprise of everyone. The season ended with the result that we know, but still, our team wanted to hold a celebration, because even if we did not hoist the cup, we won a bunch of new friends, and after all, that's the most important ... 

Finally we were just 6 on the golf course , Ray joined us for the BBQ at Graham’s. It is not easy to find a date that suits everyone and even though we were supposed to be 10 at some point, life being what it is, some were not able to make it on "D-Day". But we thought of those who were not there, watching a great sunset on Lake St-Louis with cold one, dreaming of what might have been if our team would have remained the same for next season. 

This is exactly why teams must change every season, because even if we are not part of the same team next year , we are now linked, not to say "brothers" in some way and this is even more important as we are  to move on to 6 teams with a lot of new guys. Making us all "ambassadors" of the "spirit of the Hockey Brotherhood", so that recruits will feel that vibe and season after season, hoping that it will be contagious, our league will become all it has the potential to be.
