THE SUSPENSE PERSISTS
/We will have to wait until the final weekend of the round robin to know the identity of the two finalists, as we still have four teams left who could participate in the final match. The reason for this is due to the tie between the loggers and Czechers, the latter who saw the result as a bitter defeat and in the case of the men in black, they were disappointed by not giving their best, but are happy getting a valuable point late on in the game. It was undoubtedly the best game on Saturday with two teams that left it all on the ice even though both seemed disappointed with their performances.
The two other meetings were one-sided. In both cases we had hoped for comebacks from our two eliminated teams, the Vipers and the Avengers, who have not experienced great post-seasons but did fight until the bitter end. These two line ups will have the opportunity to play the spoiler party next weekend as both the eliminated teams will meet clubs that are trying to qualify for the the big game on May 3 which we will hopefully sell out so we can make a profound impact on the SLAP hockey program supporting Sun Youth through our fundraising.
During this event you will be able to admire the work of Jacob loan Poliquin from the Vipers who will have some of his paintings on hand, which are part of our silent auction, which began in January and will end at our end of season gala in mid -May. If you believe that they will not pass your family CFO, talk to your surroundings and the people with whom you do business, because these paintings of icons of our popular culture will increase a lot in value over the coming decades and will bring some color for those who will have the chance to hang them up.
Have a nice week and keep your energy for a big weekend in perspective.
