THE LFA PLAYS ON THE ROAD

For the past few seasons, Notre-Dame College's hockey program has been using more and more ice time on weekends, and the result has seen the LFA season schedule cut by a few weekends. For the first time ever the league recently set up a 3-on-3 tournament to deal with this situation and on Saturday we will play our first winter regular season game away from home by moving the show to the Pierrefonds Sportplexe with 3 of our games played on the olympique size ice surface. To welcome us, the Sportplexe administration will graciously offer each team a 2 for 1 deal on beer pitchers after the game at the bar which will surely be appreciated by our members.

It's not the first time we take the show on the road as last summer, the Montreal division faced off against our South Shore division at the Complexe Bell in Brossard in inter-division games. But this weekend will be the first time that we have organized games in Pierrefonds for our winter season.

Good morning sportsmen !

On March 22, I will participate in the fifth edition of the Marvin on the Rock Evening for the benefit of the Marie Vincent Foundation. Basically, I will sing in front of hundreds of people (yes, yes ...) with my Espace CDPQ team in order to raise funds for an important cause, that supports children and teenagers victims of sexual violence.
