It is more inspiring to write after we had 3 good games without any bullshit (among regulars that is... alas there are subs who still don’t get the Brotherhood's principles I guess...) It was fun to see good hockey without whining or arguing with the ref, and also they were treated to two «premières»; the return on the ice of «the president» who played two big games (2 wins, with a goal and several assists), but especially the participation of the first woman to play in the LFA.

Another Saturday has already come and gone !

I don’t know if it's the same for you, but once the season has started, my hockey games become temporal references around which the rest of the time is divided, a kind of metronome or something ... I have to say I have neither children nor fixed work schedule, who are the real metronomes of many of you, but since I know you enjoy being on the ice as much as me, your games are probably an even more special time of the week. Enjoy it !

As some of you know. I missed the beginning of the season because I was away hunting for 3 weeks.Totally isolated, no phone (signal) or radio and even less TV. While most of the other hunters are quick to install their satellite antenna on arrival at their camp my buddy’s place is most «rudimentary» so there is absolutely nothing and it’s all good with me !!! 

Since March we were talking about organizing a team party, an occasion to spend the jackpot ($ 270) accumulated when the Express won the 50/50 2 times in a row, to the surprise of everyone. The season ended with the result that we know, but still, our team wanted to hold a celebration, because even if we did not hoist the cup, we won a bunch of new friends, and after all, that's the most important ... 

It seems that now that the «dust is settling» on this historic inaugural regular season, which was eventful to say the least, and on the eve of the first LFA Grand Final that promises to be an unparalleled event , the inspiration to write a few lines surfaces back after a few weeks of «abstinence».

Yes indeed ! It will be the last game of the regular season next Saturday . Alas, I will not be with you to celebrate, and it pisses me off ! Not that we have a chance to win; with the beginning of the season that the Express had, let’s say we're glad to have finished with a respectable record!

This is my fourth attempt at writing something this week, I’m just sick of talking about the same old basic stuff, that by now I almost felt was behind us…(See previous texts…14-12 2013 among others) All I really wish for is that the «concerned parties» to get a grip, and we can just play hockey.

A beautiful day that announces spring after a big win, in addition to winning the 50/50 again for the Express, what could be more inspiring! One could say that it ends the week well or that it 's a good start to it , depending on how you see things...

Back after missing two, saying that I was eager to play my Saturday game would be an understatement to say the least . Looking forward to joining the Express who had won handily 5-0 last week in my absence, I expected a good game, but not to be part of one in which so many records were to be established, some that will be hard to beat , even virtually impossible in some cases ...

It's funny when a guy shows "pity" for a team and wishes them a victory, then finally the team in question beats his team and he’s not happy at all …
